Kalimaya Dive Resort offers spacious waterfront bungalows built with sustainability and comfort in mind, equipped with everything you need.
Wake up to the sun. All 13 of our rooms face East with direct Ocean views, so you can watch the sun rise over Komodo Island and Gili Banta and fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping on the shore.
All of our bungalows are over 30+ square meters. They are equipped with large comfortable beds, air conditioning, fans, private bathrooms {including an open outdoor hot shower}, plenty of storage space, a mini-fridge, a coffee station, a work desk and chair, and a beautiful private covered terrace to relax after an amazing day of exploring this tropical playground.
Sustainably Built
Through extensive planning and development, we have sourced all available materials from local communities on Sumbawa Island.
Using traditional knowledge, Indonesian craftsmen constructed our bungalows using a combination of Teak and Mahogany sourced from local farms.
Our bungalows have been designed to offer the utmost guest satisfaction while fitting into the natural surroundings, full of local flora and fauna.

In addition to 3 king bed rooms, the villa has 2 oversized bunkbeds designed for children or the young at heart. 8 guests can share this secluded accommodation. The villa boasts a private elevated panoramic lounge offering views of Banta, Komodo, and Sangeang Volcano; perfect for your morning coffee, or as a place to share the evening.

CONSCIOUSLY SOURCED
Kalimaya Dive Resort is located between two small villages which primarily rely on fishing and farming to survive. We aim to source as many ingredients as possible from our neighbours.
When we serve fish, it is caught using traditional practices. This includes outrigger boats using a small net {with big holes}, or a canoe with a single line and hook.
